VOLUNTEER SERVICE REQUIREMENTS: All participants must complete three (3) hours of volunteer service to participate in the event. Upon registration you will receive a volunteer service form at the email address you use to sign-up for the event. Additional information about fulfilling volunteer service hours can be obtained by contacting Vince Rucci at vince@verticalrunner.com

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Out-and-back course on primarily a single track trail. The course composition includes rocks, roots, and stream crossings. The course includes approximately 2,500' of elevation gain and 2500' of elevation loss.

AID STATIONS: Stations will be found every four to six (4-6) miles. Special Note - This year all participants are expected to carry their own water bottle. No cups or paper products will be used. Hammer Nutrition products including Gel and Heed as well as water, pop, peanut butter and jelly, and pretzels will be provided at every aid station. There are also unmanned water stops along the course.

WHAT YOU GET: All participants will receive a short-sleeved tech tee. Finishers will also receive a custom finisher's medal.

• Top Three (3) Men and Women Masters
• Top Three (3) Men and Women Grand Masters
• Top Three (3) Men and Women in the 29 and below age bracket
• Top Three (3) Men and Women in the 30 to 39 age bracket
• Top Three (3) Men and Women in the 40 to 49 age bracket
• Top Three (3) Men and Women in the 50 to 59 age bracket
• Top Three (3) Men and Women in the 60 and over age bracket

FEE:

• $65 before January 1, 2010
• $75 thereafter
• There is no race day registration or waiting list

REFUND POLICY: There will be no refunds once you have registered for the race.

RACE LIMIT: The first 175 registrants.
