With local parks just a stone’s throw from both of our locations, finding adventure and exploring the outdoors couldn’t be easier. Over the next few weeks, we’re excited to highlight some incredible adventures waiting for you right in your own backyard.

First up: the beautiful Hudson Parks—just a short stroll from our Hudson store!
Hudson, Ohio is home to a variety of amazing parks, each offering something special—whether you're looking to relax, play sports, or enjoy family time, there’s a park for every kind of adventurer.
Hudson Springs Park - 7095 Stow Road, Hudson, OH
Hudson Springs Park is the crown jewel of the city’s outdoor spots. Spanning 260 acres, it features a stunning 50-acre lake that’s perfect for fishing, kayaking, or just enjoying the view. The park is loaded with things to do—walking trails, picnic spots, a disc golf course, volleyball courts, a playground, and even a fun hedge maze for the kids to explore. It’s a spot that’s perfect for a little adventure, whether you’re alone or with the whole family.

Cascade Park - 130 Lynn Drive, Hudson, OH
This 75-acre park is a local favorite, especially for families. The playground is a big hit, divided into areas for little ones and bigger kids, complete with fun features like big slides, a bear bridge, and a paw-print ladder. There’s plenty of room for sports, with baseball fields and a full basketball court, and a pavilion perfect for hanging out. If you’re more of a nature lover, the park also has scenic walking trails and a charming stream with a waterfall.
Wood Hollow Metro Park - 2121 Barlow Road, Hudson, OH
Wood Hollow Metro Park offers a peaceful 1.2-mile loop trail through beech-maple woods and an open meadow. It’s an ideal spot to disconnect and soak in the sights and sounds of nature. You may even catch a glimpse of some local wildlife like birds, frogs, insects, and maybe even a few furry or scaly creatures. A perfect escape for those looking to enjoy a more serene outdoor experience.
Colony Park - 6075 Ogilby Drive, Hudson, OH
Colony Park is a 34-acre neighborhood park that’s got it all—short trails through the woods, a pedestrian bridge over active train tracks, baseball fields, a basketball court, volleyball courts, and a playground. Plus, there are picnic tables, grills, and a pavilion for when you just want to kick back and enjoy the outdoors. It’s the ideal spot for a laid-back day with friends or family.
Veterans Way Park - Veterans Way, Hudson, OH
Veterans Way Park is a 38-acre space fearuring a playground, plenty of covered picnic areas, a restored wetland, basketball courts, a splash pad, a skateboard park, and a one-mile trail. Kids can enjoy the Little Free Library and the Story Walk, and there are restrooms on-site for convenience. No matter your age or interests, this park has you covered.

Barlow Farm Park - 1965 Barlow Road, Hudson, OH
Barlow Farm Park is a go-to spot in Hudson for all kinds of outdoor fun. Sitting next to the historic Case-Barlow Farm, this 60-acre park has plenty to offer—whether you're into sports, spending time with family, or just looking to enjoy some fresh air.
If you’re looking to play, there are six soccer fields, four baseball diamonds, 12 pickleball courts, and five tennis courts. For a more laid-back vibe, there’s a two-mile paved trail that’s perfect for walking, jogging, or biking. And if you’ve got kids, they’ll love the playground with slides, monkey bars, and even a mini zip-line.
There are also two pavilions, Bayless and Grell, which are great for family picnics or get-togethers. They’ve got electricity, grills, and easy access to restrooms. The park is also home to fun annual events, like the Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration and the Hudson Pickleball Classic.
Whether you’re playing sports, hanging out with friends, or checking out the local events, Barlow Farm Park is a great place to spend the day in Hudson.
Maple Grove Park - 934 Farnham Way, Hudson, OH
Tucked away in Hudson, Ohio, Maple Grove Park is a 100-acre natural retreat that blends fields, forests, and wetlands, making it an ideal spot for outdoor lovers. The park features a scenic one-mile loop trail made of crushed limestone, perfect for hiking, running, or simply soaking in the natural beauty.
The trail winds through diverse ecosystems, offering visitors a peaceful escape and a chance to spot local wildlife, including a variety of birds and small mammals. Though the trail is mostly flat, there’s a moderately steep section between the 0.5 to 0.7-mile mark, which may require assistance for those using wheelchairs or strollers.
Whether you're looking to explore nature, enjoy a quiet hike, or do some birdwatching, Maple Grove Park is the perfect spot to connect with the outdoors. Open daily from dawn to dusk, it's a peaceful haven in the heart of Hudson.
Boston Mills Park - 510 Boston Mills Road, Hudson, OH

Boston Mills Park, a pleasant 8-acre spot in Hudson, is perfect for a relaxing day outdoors. The park features a short, accessible walking trail that loops through nature and offers a great view of the Lake Forest neighborhood at the end. It’s a great spot for a leisurely stroll, some photography, or just taking in the scenery.
There are also picnic tables and restrooms, making it a nice spot to hang out with friends or family. Whether you’re out for a walk or just looking for a quiet place to relax, Boston Mills Park is a hidden delight in Hudson.
Middleton Park - 1738 Middleton Road, Hudson, OH
Middleton Park is a 9-acre treasure in Hudson, perfect for families and sports lovers. It has a basketball court, baseball field, playground with swings and a merry-go-round, plus a pavilion with grills for picnics.
Big things are coming, too! The park is set to become Summit County’s first fully inclusive playground, giving everyone, no matter their abilities, a chance to play and have fun together.
Whether you’re playing sports or just enjoying a day out, Middleton Park is a great spot to hang out in Hudson.
High Point Park - 3056 Middleton Road, Hudson, OH
High Point Park is a 52-acre natural space in Hudson, Ohio, perfect for those who enjoy the outdoors. With its rolling meadows and quiet, undeveloped landscape, it’s an ideal place to slow down and recharge.
